Events for September and October:

  • First Fridays in New Hope throughout the month of September! Check out vendors, artisans, crafters, food, and fireworks starting September 1.
  • Frenchtown Riverfest is a longstanding tradition in the area! Explore local vendors on the street fair along the river. 50+ local vendors, local 20+ musicians, food vendors and beer tent Sunday September 3.
  • Stroll through beautiful art, enjoy performances, and check out vendors at the 32nd annual Doylestown Arts Festival September 9-10.
  • Enjoy a show at one of the top theaters on the East Coast: Bucks County Playhouse! Shows include: The Bridges of Madison County until September 10, Menopause The Musical 2 September 20 to October 1, and The Rocky Horror Show October 13 to October 28.
  • Is spooky your style in the Fall? Check out Haunted Trails Bucks County Audubon for frightful fun in late October.
  • Mid-week movie nights are a hit throughout the Fall at The County Theater. Grab dinner in town then enjoy a new release or classic like My Fair Lady on September 6, Dirty Dancing on September 21 outside at the Mercer, or The Rocky Horror Picture Show outside at Broad Street Commons Park on October 11!
  • Over 160 artists will exhibit various media at the 29th Annual New Hope Arts and Crafts Festival on September 23. Appreciate the art, find a piece to take home, and enjoy one of the best art festivals in Bucks County!
  • Take an evening tour and learn the history of Fonthill Castle, the home of Henry Chapman Mercer.
  • Doylestown Oktoberfest and Skateboard Jam is a one day event featuring live music, food trucks, vendors, a beer tent, and epic skate competition. Plan your stay and attend the event October 7!
